I got a lot of comments and mail for these kindda questions. So i planned to write this article about that.
Passing Marks
Microsoft has not clearly mentioned the passing marks and out of marks.
But you need to score 80% to clear the exams.
Experience tell that MCTS(both) and MCPD are out of 1000 marks. you need minimum 800 to clear the exam.
No of Questions
Minimum 40 (most of the cases)
Maximum 50
Duration
2.30 - 3 hours according to questions.
these are the no's according to the my experience at time of giving the exams. It could change later by Microsoft.
Don't hesitate to comment if any question/query is in your mind.

Hi, it is not mandatory, means no one will ask you for that, but microsoft recommend experience.

anyone has recently given 70-528? or do u know any one who has recently given 70-528 ? actually my concern was regarding dump questions. I hav very old dumps dated 2006 an d sept 2007. I serached a lot of sites but found same dumps again n again. Still same ques's r appearing or some different ques's are also seen??

no it is not mandatory, you can give any of the exam first.
no dependency of two exam.
only condition is you have to have clear both exam to get the ms certificate.

Passing percentage is 60%.
have to 600 out of 1000.
if you can provide a genuine page link where it is mentioned clearly that 60% is passing mark. i will change my post content.

Is it MCTS or MCST.
MCST are old exams. if you want to appear for .net certification go for MCTS. in my post all details regarding to MCTS is explained.

hi sweet,
Passing criteria is same, but you can cross check it, I had witten another post in which some ms help no & email ids are mentioned. Or you can call any Niit or aptech / prometric center(certified centers for exams). Pls update in the comment if you got any genuine info.
